February 2015: Austin Jewish Community Center, Community Hall Stage. TFAP piloted an original work entitled The Dead Giveaway: A Play in One Final Act, as part of an afternoon end-of-life planning workshop at the Austin Jewish Community Center. The performance was attended by seventy-seven audience members and was warmly received, thanks in great measure to the talented storyteller, Bernadette Nason. The script was written by playwright Larry Mitchell and directed by members of our talented creative team, Jenny Lavery and Derek Kolluri. Special thanks to the St. David’s Foundation, Louise Beldon and the Jewish Community Center Senior Adult Programs Department for sponsoring this first event. We could not have done it without your support!
