Eleanor Beldon Komet, Ph.D.
is retired psychologist in San Antonio, Texas. She was a lecturer in Psychology, Advanced Group Psychotherapy Course at Our Lady of the Lake Univeristy, in San Antonio, Texas. She was employed as a Psychological Associate at San Antonio Psychological Services between 1989 and 1991. She has also worked as a Psychological Associate and Instructor for the Clinical Pastoral Program at the Ecumenical Center for Religion and Health. Eleanor has additional professional training in Family Mediation, Basic Mediation, and Hypnosis. Her workshops include: A Group Dialogue about Values and Ethics, 2008; Values and Ethics: How Our Personal and Professional Beliefs Inform the Practice of Group Psychotherapy, 2005; Ethics in Group and Individual Psychotherapy and Shame: the Unspoken Bind, 1998. She has held academic appointments at the Ecumenical Center for Religion and Health and as Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry, University of Texas Health Sciences Center. She retired from private practice in 2013 and continues to be very involved in community projects, serving on numerous boards.
