Dr. David John

is a specialist in rheumatology and internal medicine in Honolulu, Hawai’i. He completed his residency in 1981 as the Chief Medical Resident. Dr. John attended the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI for his fellowship in rheumatology in the Rackham Arthritis Research Unit. He is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Hawaii and a rheumatologist at The Queen’s Medical Center and the Spark Matsunaga VA Medical Center. He has served on the resident committee in recent years, and is currently serving on the HMA Committee on Physician’s Health as Chairman of the Board, as well as numerous other administrative positions. He has been honored as one of the Best Doctors in America, and received an Excellence in Teaching Award from the University of Hawai’i in 1985-86. Dr. John also received the Arthritis Foundation Fellow’s Award for Research Achievement in 1982.
